after installing a cam and springs new opti and all the misc stuff. car ran great and i somehow or another left the key in the "assy" position all night.. when i noticed the next morning the battery was of course dead so i charged it and then when i ran the car i noticed that something wasnt right.. when u touch the throttle the car spits and sputters and will start to backfire.. no engine codes,, new ecu from PcmForless , changed the ing control mod, coil, opti, map,tps and i sent the ecu back to pcmforless and he just tested it and said everything is ok.. but will reprogram it and send it back.. now if that doesnt work .. what do you guys think?? Update.. got thew ecu back from bryan.. didnt work still doing it.. what can i do now.. can a real mechanic shop be able to figure it out ? can they run a diag test with a aftermarket computer? could it even be internal? no bad engine noise or tapping at all.. run running like crap..AHHHHHHHH i am going crazy

UPDATE~~~ Just went for a test drive again just to see wtf it going on..tried unplugging the cts and it ran a lil better for like 5 mins and then back to freaking up.sooo i got back to the house and poped my hood and looked closey at the plugs and wires and i saw number 3, 7, and 8 sparking around the spark plug itself but between the wire boot... SO i just put new plugs in and the wires arent that old... so new wire time??

when i first start up it is usually ok for like 5 mins of stopping and going it gets worse and worse.. You touch the throttle and its hesatates and the the rpm shutters and does backfire. really only with a load on it.. idle is fine. has a new opti, new msd coil, new ing module, new plugs.. this is all after the problem..Wires will be changed tomorrow..just weird that it ran GREAT and then i left the key on all night and then bang the car is messed up.. and now after all that it might be the spark plug wires?? how can leaving the key on affect the wires?

Sounds like something sensor related possibly. I didnt realize it was fine cold. The computer runs off of set parameters until the car has run for so long/up to temp. The car can run fine for the first few minutes until it warms up and starts using the readings from the sensors. Get it on a diagnostic scanner and datastream what some of the sensors are doing. You may have a sluggish O2 sensor. When mine went on me, there were no SES lights/codes in the PCM.
