Re: Cammed Audio Clip

Pulls mean as hell too! I've got it tuned to 110 mph so far. At that point the engine sucks approximately 150 gm/s but I don't think I have enough fuel yet. It just stahls and sumbles like it's hitting a rev limmiter at that point. I've bumped up the MASF tables for that region in tunercat and bumped up the fuel pressure. However, this CC306 must REALLY suck the fuel up high.

Anyways for more specs.... I have stock everything cept for valve springs, retainers, seats, cam, and pushrods. The engine is a fresh rebuild to stock other wise. There's on little extra punch in their though. I mildly ported and polished the heads on my own. Worked like a charm. that aluminum is easy to work with.

Well enjoy ya all!

Can you email it to me so I can host it where everyone can have access to it? It says your data transfer has been exceeded for the month.

You sure the fuel is maxed out? my last WOT run with my then stock engine pulled 240 grms/sec. Stock everything except for spark plug wires and plugs.

you are talking about 150 grms/sec of air measured at MAF or am I wrong? that and a mix of 12 to 13 to one of air fuel should not max your pump I think.

Where are the experts at??

Re: Cammed Audio Clip

Well. It's DEFINATLY right. I have to data runs to prove it. It wasn't over 200 gm/s. However, are you guys talking about a stock cam???? Mine revs up to around 5k rpm at 110 mph or so and around 150 gm/s and it doesn't get enough fuel to rev any higher. So is my guess. Cause it was doing that at 70 mph and I upped the fuel in tuner cat until I've gotten it to 110mph where it does this at.

That cam doesn't suck any fuel down low. With stock tuning it was litterally blowing gas out the exhaust. But up at higher rpm it needs lots more fuel. Unfortunately the oxygen sensors don't get enough run time at 110 mph and 150 gm/s to learn the fuel so I'm stuck shooting in the dark. however, the fuel theory seems to be working so far. Although the car is in storage now for the winter.

Well thanks for the heads up.
