Moore is correct. In fact I raced a 03' Cobra at the 1/4 track a week ago and beat him by 5 lenghts. Moroso CAI, pulley, Jethot lts, 3" y no cats, open Borla and Nitto's. No engine work......yet

The guy must not have known how to drive 03 cobras with good drivers run 12.60's to 12.80s all day long.

If my next sports car isn't an 03 cobra (doubtful), ZR1 or 02+ Z06,

the NA DOHC cobra plus two turbos is a hell of possibility. that should say a lot coming from a die hard chevy guy like me-

but i guess it realy dpends on if i want strait line or twisties at the time

The POS rear of the f-body is enough to turn me away as well as a few other complaints (ie $600 headers).

Looking at the motor trend right in front of me.. times for the supercharged cobra 13.3 at 108.1 with a 0-60 of 4.9.. Car and Driver managed 12.9 at 111..

I know those are cold tire test numbers, they had trouble launching with the IRS..

Don't know if this helps or hurts..

Check this link out too for the reason behind horsepower loss in the cobras.. http://www.caranddriver.com/article....&page_number=1 not good news for the Saleen S351 either..

Know thy enemy! Or at least the car you chose not to build!
