Open loop huh??
so all I hafta do is ajust the open look settings and then disconect the sensors to gain control over obd 1 ?? I dont have emissions test in Hawaii... and I have a double cat 95 transplanted here from California...
I am thinking my car is about to loose some weight//// who needs cats where there is no Emissions test??? not me...
Oh maybe I should wait a little... to see if I get any warnings from someone in this site.... by the way I didnt know it would stay in open loop
'
thanks for the info.

You are pretty much defeating the biggest benefit of having computer control by making it stay in open loop. It will no longer be able to make adjustments based on sensed a/f ratios. You probably won't be happy with it.

I'm wanting to see if my warm low rpm stumble is the opti or the O2's, or something else.... this is gona help me figure it out, if she stumbles while in open loop then ill have narrowed it down a bit more.
