Canfield Heads????
I am getting ready to buy some Canfield Heads from a guy he said that they were never released to the public
well this is what he told me
NEW Canfield LT1 heads that were never released for public sale w/220 intake runners , 58cc chambers , stainless 2.08 in. 1.60 ex. , Comp springs good to .600 lift , set up to run center bolt or primeter bolt valve covers , they use a Fel Pro 1206 In. (mod to fit ) and a 1406 Ex. must use a .150 offsetIn. rocker (Jegs sells a whole set for $219 , ARP 7/16 studs and hardend guide plates . I don't have flow sheets .
Does anyone know anything about these heads are they any good or do they even exist (am I going to get wroked over on this deal.)
I want to get them on a flow bench before I hand over the cash.

Canfield sold LT1 heads for a year or so, then stopped making them. Not sure if they were the same as the ones you mentioned. I know two people who had Canfields.... one has a website and indicates he wasn't too happy with them "out of the box". He indicates his had 200cc runners.

Click on "My 94 Firebird Formula....." and scroll through the years to 2000 and there is a link to info on the Canfields.
A personal friend of mine found a used set of Canfields that sound similar to what you mentioned.... he put them on a 383 with a Vortech blower that made 1,125flywheelHP, and ran 9.04 @ 155mph in a 3,900# 30th SS convertible. But I know the heads were heavilly reworked, including relocating the valves. I doubt Canfield would have recognized them.
