I bought an innovia 3120 b(for obd1 and 2) and pulled 8 codes. I fixed the exhaust leak and replaced the 02 sensor, figuring that should take care of 4 out of 8 codes. Pulled PCM batt fuse , discon Batt cables, even tried holding pos and neg together with key on waiting for an hour. I read codes off obd2 car thinking the 3120 was maybe holding the codes from the last reading and tried all again and still all 8 codes ? What gives here ? Any help pls. Thanks in advance.

Removing the PCM BAT fuse for 30 seconds ought to do it. Are you sure you are operating the scanner correctly? What codes are we talking about? I actually have little confidence in the Innova scanners after reading multiple threads of people having odd troubles with them.

Code 42(spark timing). 43 (spark ckt probs, timing, low volt detected) 44 (lean exh left side dual o2), 45(rich exh left side dual o2), 51 (computer prob , fault/wrong prom unit ecm/pcm fail), 53 high volt or egr syst fault or ac volt), 54 fuel pump circ or m/c sol oor ecm fault or sel fail) and 55 (ecm fault or 02 sensor or egr sol # 3 fail fuel lean monitor ).

I suggest getting an aldl cable and using a laptop(free software stickied at top of this forum for the 94-95 cars.

Just like some others have gotten, 54 is not even a valid code for our cars. I'd try another scanning solution.
