cant find crane 10308 valvespring kit anywhere

I'm right in the middle of my 383 build, and my mind was made up about using the crane 10308 kit, but I can't find it anywhere. Summit and Jegs don't have them in stock, and If I order it, they cant ship untill the 27th. and I don't want to wait 2 weeks.

Anybody know of an other place where I can find this kit?

OR...... give me part #s of different springs, retainers, locks, ect. (around a $200 budget)

I was considering the K-motion springs, but I read that they have too much seat pressure, and I've seen several posts about them breaking.

Thanks In Advance.

I have several sets of the PAC 1518s for $225 shipped. They are beehives like the 1218s but are good to .650 lift. If you want the locks/retainers/seats that can be had for $150 shipped.

The Crane 10308 are on order, just waiting....

Are they just out of the "kit"? Is so why don't you get the parts separately from the best priced outfit? That particular spring also comes in a step up version. Get the springs and then just order the retainers an locks separate. JMHO

The Patriot Gold Extreme springs would be the best choice BUT they will not work with SA rockers.

I would get PAC 1218 springs, Comp 795 retainers, 611 locks and 4705 locators as the next best thing and a set up that WILL work with SA rockers.

The Crane spring is a 99893 but by the time you buy the springs along with the retainers, locks and locators, you will probably be close to bee hive $$$.

The Crane 10308-1 kits will NOT work with SA rockers either. You would need a different retainer/lock set up for these to work.

Why won't they work with SA rockers? I believe I have those springs along with my Crower 1.6 RRs. Is it because the retainers don't provide enough valve stem for the RRs to work with or what.
