can't get ahold of Delteq
#76
Hey folks, I had a Delteq in a previous life/vehicle, and would do it again even if the company isn't around or offering help anymore, if it's cheaper than an opti that you know is junk from the day you put it on. JMHO though, to each his own, especially as much as *all* options cost for LT1 ignition.
Anyway, same/same here, I have been trying to get ahold of JC for a couple of weeks, no reply to email (although it does not bounce) and vmail says 'box is full' so can't even leave a message.
In any case, if anyone still has one around they want to junk, I'd like to piece one together. The coils and ICM seem cheap enough and I have to do something, my opti stopped sparking.
Oh and hey what's up with the sterile gloves in the picture??? That delteq box a biohazard or something???

I sincerely hope whatever is wrong works out for the best and the company returns, but at this point it is time to leave it lay.

Last we heard the man was ill, I am certain we all wish him well but it is an unfortunate fact that that has killed the company. You want to buy up components that is fine, but it might be best to leave JC alone as he has more important concerns.

I'll refocus my efforts on badgering Bob Bailey!!!

Once I get the OptiDecoder done with FreeEMS, I'll make an LS1 coil driver kit for about $100 that is 100% open-source so you don't have to depend on 1 guy. Really pisses me off when guys just blow you off.
