cant stand the bucking of cam surge what to do!!
i went to obd1 conversion after cc306 install i had bryan do my programing.i originally had an obd2 program but someone said go obd1 conversion with that setup there is more power in the obd1 conversion up top.anyways went to dyno and my af was fat down low but leveled off to 13:1 or pretty close near middle of the run so i sent it back to bryan to lean it out down low soooo.my car bucks sometimes bad at crusing 2200 or below and surges a little during light acceleration this is so nerve racking can this be fixed or is it all in the program.its so annoying on short trips around town but i will say there is no problem at wot.

Sounds like you might beniit from some more tuning work, in person would be best be it Bryan or someone else. The ported MAF is probably making it very difficult to tune well especially by email. If you have one available see if Byan can send you a tune for a stock MAF and try the stock MAF that might do the trick too.

Re: cant stand the bucking of cam surge what to do!!
I have cam surge below 1500rpm holding the throttle steady in first and second gear. I have the hot cam kit, relatively small cam, 218 intake duration. The CC306 is about 12deg longer intake duration. Tuning may help but some cam surge should be expected. When duration increases the torque curve shifts to the higher rpm range and makes more upper rpm power, at the same time low rpm torque and driveability suffers. I just drive mine in a lower gear to keep the rpms up a little.
