Are most of you using the Canton gasket (88-100T) w/ good results? Anybody know the plug size needed for the oil level sensor fitting? How does that gold finish hold up to the elements and/or time? Any rust?
TIA

call canton and they will say the same. 5 in the pan+oil filer volume. i put 6 quarts in 5in pan+1qt for filter. it will read at the VERY end of the dipstick in the middle of the twist at the end of the dipstick. don't fill it up to to stock oil level

I just installed mine (its painted to match the engine, pewter metallic, and I used the Fel Pro gasket), and needed the plug too. I believe its m18, which a larger parts store should have(but not the one here). I just cut the original sending unit down, removed the plastic guts, and welded up the hole in it and screwed it back in (needed clearance for the o2).
