Canton 242t pan and longtubes....
I was hooking up all the sensors on the new build and saw that my oil level sensor and my longtubes take up the same spot..
I have had the pan for about 3 years, just finally got to using it with the new motor. Is this still an issue with Canton pans that are made now?
Are there any headers that do clear this? I want to change my jet hot headers to a stainless header.

I broke/sawed the low oil level sensor( so that the threads were still good) and put the sensor in the pan. Check your oil so that is not low, who needs an annoying sensor? and tie the lines on the sensor together so as not to get the idiot light

Same issue on my car. I had the Hookers interfering with the low oil sensor so I was forced to remove it. If you feel you absolutely must have one you can weld in a new bung on a different part of the pan.

Sorta dumb on Cantons part, aren't headers about the first bolt on mod any one does, next to a CAI.

I tried the "thru the bottom" thing purposely so I could have my headers on and not mess with it later. First of all, thru the bottom by yourself sucks, big time.
Second of all , doing headers on any 4th gen sucks, big time. Mine stays the way it is. It'll be mostly track driven anyhow
