Car bogs down low and hits wall up high
Trying to diagnose a problem that I have been having since I removed a set of ported heads and went back to stock heads. Car is mostly stock in terms of mods that will cause problems besides a hotcam.
It is an auto 93, down low the car is really boggy and almost dies or falls on its face. It is on stock programming as we speak so I cannot expect it to be the best but I have had this car before with heads and cam and it ran better on stock programming. After the head swap the main problem is that once the car gets up high in revs it starts to feel as if it is hitting the rev limiter or lack of fuel.
On the one two shift it has enough rpm to shift but you can feel it hesistate, on the 2-3 shift it will fluctuate between 4-6K until it feels like shifting. It pulls strong in the mid-range.
Had it on a scanner today and did not notice anything out of the ordinary. The O2's range fine, the knock at WOT or were the problem is around 6 degrees at most. Fuel pressure is 45 psi.
Rest of the engine and other components hav been replaced in the last 5K including electrical sensors. It currently has a stock convertor as well.
