The fastest I have ever had was around 154~156MPH verifed by laser and radar.... C & D magazine back in 1993 showed 152MPH....

But from my understanding, the limiter was removed if it came from the factory with Z rated tires for the 1993.... I never researched it alot, just something I read many moons ago...

Yeah I ended up ordering the chip from PCM im hoping that takes car of the problem.

If the car had the Z-rated tires, the number entered in the program's speed limiter field was "255"..... the largest 8-bit binary value.

OK thanks for clearing that up, I wonder how the fastest cars in the world make it past that "block", I should google it I think.

You could let one bit represent 2 MPH, allowing you to enter 510MPH The RPM output is based on one bit = 25 rpm, and there is also a 16-bit RPM output field that allows higher resolution.

Or use a 32-bit processor.
