why did you replace the water pump?

the waterpump was replaced because the coolant was not pumping through. at the time i took off the cap and the fluid was not pumping.

i have replaced the thermostat and bled the lines and now it seems to be running just fine. i have drove it about 150 miles so far and all seems fine. it does go up slightly while stopped at a red light but goes back down as i begin to drive again.
