car just stalled
hey guys i was out today and actually had my car on the road.....yey!!!
anyways i was going down the road messing with a new WS-6 when had to brake abruptly.....well when the car stopped it stalled....threw it in nuetral started it up and it runs fine..its and automatic......
anybody have a clue whatsup...also i had about half a tanka of gas maybe less if that help..
had the opti replace last summer and had only had it bacl on the orad for 3 days .....soo pleeeze dont say opti lol
also i think its time for a tune up...if that helps

maybe it was a once in a million electrical gremlin that isn't reproducable in a shop environment and therefore undiagnosable. try and remember as much as you can about the stall such as road speed, engine speed, engine temp, OIL PRESSURE(if your engine takes a while to start, it could be a bad fuel pump relay, and the car is actually cutting the fuel pump on with the oil pressure sensr/switch, and the hard nose dive may have dropped pressure enough to kill the fuel pump, but i kinda doubt that one), ambient air temp, any strange noises, vibrations, shudders, etc. Even consider the last place you got fuel and the last time/person who worked on the car.

anybody else have an opinion.....hope its not the pump.....around 1/4 the gas guage does like to fluctuate
