Question Car Making Noise When Turning Left

Hey everybody, I just notice my car when turning left it makes this noise which sounds like when your brake pads needs to be changed. Also the sound appears sometimes when I am just driving normally. The noise is more noticeable and is a little bit louder when turning left. But when turning right no noise. I was wondering if anybody would be able to give me any suggestions or ideas on what I should check. Thanks in advance for your help.

Check you motor mounts. I had a similar problem ended up being that my left mount was so shot that the head of the bolt was rubbing on the head of another bolt making a very noticable clicking sound when braking or turning left.

Can you identify where the noise is coming from? If it's from the rear of the car, you might have a worn posi unit or rubbing/sticky brake caliper.

PM hyperspeed (he has some #'s in his name also but I can't remember it exactly) He had the same problem and fixed it awhile back. I think it was due to worn out c-clips.

check your A arm on the side making the noise. there is a nut on the bottom that may be "wallard" out some. put a wrench on it and crank it down. its a 3/4 or 11/16 i think?

Thanks for the help, I forgot to mention that the noise is coming from the front driver side tire.

Mine makes a popping noise everynow and then when turning left.. I looked and everything appeared OK. Hadn't heard it in a while but then again, I hadn't driven it either.

Cool

Hey everybody, sorry for the delay in replying sooner but 2 weeks ago, I put my car on jacks and pulled off my front driver side tire and found out the little indicator on the brake pad in which it tells you that you need to change your brake pads, was touching the rotor. So I went ahead and bought a pair of front rotors and pads. After installing the pads and rotors, I took the car for a test drive and there was no noise at all. I was so glad it was the pads and not anything else. So before buying anything, check your brake pads first and go from there. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me. Thanks.

look at the driver side motor mount. You'll be able to see the 2 bolts I'm talking about.
