Car starts and runs for 5mins, then shuts off and no more spark

The delteq "ignition controller"/ "opti-box". Look at the picture I posted on the first page.

Hmmm? Two guys, two different answers? The terminalogy has got me confused because both parts sound almost the same.
#1: The part that sits under the coil pack (that the coils themselves plug into and mounts on top of the valve cover) is a General Motors part.
#2: The part that has the red LED (mounts on the front of the engine uses the same two studs as the factory coil) is a Del-Tec manufactured part.
Are you guy's issues with part #1 or #2?
Thanks, Douglas
PS: ssbowtie, in your post #14, I do not see a pic on my screen. I'm guessing that's where you put a picture you said "here's what I found"

Thanks ssbowtie, I thought that was the answer. I should have stated up front my dilemma, I have a Del-Tec on my '95 B-body and it failed because the coil pack loosened up and fell off the valve cover and ended up on the exhaust manifold and cooked the ignition module(#1). Before I figured out (after many phone calls) that this part was GM, I found a NIB Del-Tec barebones kit (no coil pack) and I paid $450 for it. After I got the thing I realized by reading the instructions that the part I really needed was a GM part and I got one at a junk yard for $50.
So here I sit with a $450 kit that I don't need, it has the opti-box(#2), serial #RX801. I have a decision to make, keep it or get my money back. Even tho the part has a lifetime gaurantee, with Mr. JC Hyde's current status, I'd prolly never find another one in case I ever needed it.
What would you guys do?
Thanks, Douglas
