check your fuel pressure, it can cause a hard start problem along with a huge loss of power if your pump is lazy enough. only other thing i can think of is it could be your coil. might wanna give us some discription of the problem.... that kinda helps.

I don't mean to make you sound like an idiot, but check your intake elbow over really well. My car ran like crap, and I couldn't figure out why until I ripped off the intake and found that I had about a million little rips in the underside of the intake elbow. Runs fine now

first of all fuel pressure is fine it started with a real high rpm miss everytime i would mash the gas it would just miss and flutter and wouldnt accelerate this problem just jumped up and bit cause the car was runniing fine that day it all started i drove it to the test n tune to watch the races and as soon as i left playing around as i was leaving with a mustang it started so i took it to my mechanic the next day and he said with 90,000 miles its the opti so i replaced the opti plugs and wires with delco of course except the wires the high rpm miss was gone but it then went to missing at low rpms and would surge going into overdrive and just gets worse everyday its even throwing missfire codes it also threw 1136 o2 rich i guess from missfiring im just stumped my car has never done this maybe i have bad parts.when im driving in over drive for a while it hessitates i can feel it in the pedal but not as bad as accelerating i hope this did not confuse u cause i really need help

If your cats arn't bad yet, then they soon will be if you continue to run your car while it's extremely rich. It could also have stemmed from a bad MAF sensor. Simply unplug it and see how your car runs.
After that, you might want to do a compression check and make sure that each cylinder is mechanically sound.
Good Luck,
Kevin

This might not help, but its an idea. Check all your vacuum lines and replace your fuel filter. You might want to check the voltage on your TPS too. I think everyone else has done a pretty good job brainstorming.
