Car will not start

Car will not start
I did the intake manifold gasket replacement.
The car will not turn on. You car hear it sparking, and all the injectors are in place and in the correct order.
Before the fix allegedly the opti had gotten oil on it. However it seems wierd to me that the opti would just die after I fix the problem with the oil.
Anyone have ANY suggestions on what I can try? I put new oil in it, and changed the oil filter.

Re: Car will not start
How sure are you that is it sparking. Most problems start with spark. Obvious start would be to check all the connections. Check 'em once and check 'em again. Make sure you coil wire is hooked up, that the wires to the coil are hooked up. Make sure that you ICM which is located right above your coil is hooked up. Next, make sure that you have your MAF hooked up, to include the intake elbow. If you have the MAF hooked up and not the elbow the computer "flips" to state it loosely. Check your fuses and make sure that when you turn the key to the on position that your fuel pump primes. You'll hear it. Make sure you vacuum connections are correct (i.e. your FPR connection)

Thanks for the help, there was this connector that went to the area near or on the opti-spark. I am not sure, but it was VERY VERY hard to reach, we were cursing at my car for at least half an hour.
Using two screw drivers as chop sticks we managed to get it in place. Immediately the car turned over and fired up.
