car wont stay running

well after all 3 runs on the dyno at the show the car would not start on the last run and we had to push it off. tested for spark and there was none. i even had my hand touching the wire comming from the coil while cranking. bought a new coil but did not have proper tools to install it to the icm so we just hooked up the wires and tried starting it. it started but then stalled out and we would have to wait like 10 minutes. fp at the guage in the car was around 40 psi

we figured the car was hot and may have caused a problem with the icm or coil. towed car to shop about an hour away. went to start car and it started right up, sounded good held the rpms at about 4k for a little bit then let it idle. everything sounded perfect. let it idle for about a minute and then it just died while i was out of the car and would not fire back up . we can smell fuel but not sure of ignition. my friend said it smelled really rich before it stalled out.

i have stock new plugs and a new opti with about 500 miles on it, stock coil too. any help would be great

Re: car wont stay running

well i got it fixed it was the ignition control module and just so happens that the mass air sensor had one of those little wires inside broken off but car runs better now that those 2 items are replaced.
