my car wouldnt start for nothin today. i had trouble starting it up in the mornings but in the day time it would be cool and now it wont start. i turn the key and no noise, no clicking just nothing.

 

Is your Security light on? If so, its a problem with the chip in your key/the sensors in the column. If the light isn't on, it could be the starter. If the battery was dead, the starter would still click. Could be other things too....

 

what could be those other things because i dont want to buy a starter and the problem is still there.

 

what sound or activity would the starter do if it went out?

 

have you checked your battery connections?

sounds like it might be the ignition switch.

 

i checked all the cables. the car doesnt make a sound just the ding ding ding when i stick the key in and i can turn the key far as it goes.

 

most of the people i know saw to tap on the starter. but if the starter is shot then what would that do?
