Cats used breifly for inspection without AIR system?

Out of curiosity, could you bolt on a cat for a afternoon without the AIR system and have it not get clogged so you could pass emissions?

I'm assuming yes, but I don't know for sure

I have a cam with a 114 LSA so I shouldn't have any problems I wouldn't think but who knows

Sure you can.. If you left it on for many months with a rich cold start before closed loop, then yes it might be a problem.. But for a few days, weeks, don't worry about it
