I asked a local shop around here if I could get away with a cc306 and he recomended the cc305 for what I was wanting. He said it would give plenty of power and it would be a bit more suitable for a daily driver. But I also want to make sure it sounds like i have a cam. Does any one have sound clips of their cars with a cc305?

its got an aggressive lope to it you deffinetly know its got a cam.I went with1.6 rockers and they make the cam a little more aggresive.I have run 12.03 with it n/a

i also wanted the cc306, but ended up going with the 305 for many reasons.. some that come to mind are emissions failure possibilities, head work, torque convertor *new* higher stall ( although i will replace this eventually, not now :P) not as streetable. The cc305 is just where i want it , for at least a year or too

oh yea, but i did have my pcm tuned by speed inc for my cam/gears/ etc...

worth the money..
