I rev to 6500 at the track with my CC306/1.6 rockers, I can't tell you peak power because they only dynoed my car to 5600rpm.

Rev limiter? I think its at like 7100 or so.

c306, rev limiter was at 6800, **** pulled strong all the way. before the cam, you could feel the power fall off in the upper ranges (5500 or so). after the cam, it pulled straight to 6800 strong.

What would be a safe shifting point with an XE 230/236, or a CC306, if I use EX-612 springs with 1.6 rockers...?

I'm airing of the side of safety and not shifting over 6500. But I know I'd make more power over that.

On stock heads, I made max power at 6100. When I finish putting the heads on, it'll be shoved way higher.

I shift my 230/236XE at 6400 with the rev limiter set at 7200 in the PCM but have a 7000 pill in the MSD6AL.
