i recently just pulled my 94z a4 off the road and purchased (cc503, 1.6rr, long tubes, springs, electric water pump). now due to a recent lack of money i did not purchase a stall convertor but i do have a built 4l60e. will I be ok running a stock convertor with 70k on it for a month or so just so i can get the car road worthy?


also i do have new stock lifters in the car after a head gasket job last year. will I be ok using them or should i replace with a new cc503 cam?

Stock lifters are fine.

The stock converter will surge a bit but it won't be bad. You'll notice a huge difference when you do swap it out though.
