is there a cheap spring that will use factory locks and retainers for the comp 306 cam?

Here is the info with part number for the spring that I am running with my 306.

Manley spring part number-
22410-16

.600 Max lift
1.250 OD Stock Chevy
Seat Pressure 130@1.750"
Open Pressure 320@1.200"
Coil Bind 1.150"

Some will say its not a good choice. The only reason I am using the spring is for the simple fact that I wanted proof that it would not work. I have put 1500 miles on mine and ran the **** out of it with absolutely no problems at all. Spin it up to 6400 with no problems.

crane 10308 from jegs i thinnk they are 89 bux or so...they are double valve spring...i pull them to around 7 all the time

Yes they use all the factory stuff. I paid 65 plus shipping brand new for these.

do not get k-motion... friend had them and they broke 2 times. he called them and they said sorry they aren't for street use.
