Is this the cheapest way to 500 rwhp??

I was wondering if LE2 heads/cam package on a full bolt-on/full exhaust lt1 plus a 150 shot threw a six speed is the cheapest way to around 500 rwhp. I know there are alot of other concerns like tuning etc etc. but considering everything is right.

If you are using nitrous then you could do it with any popular cam and LE1 heads

Yup.... LE1 package on stock bottom end with a 150 will get you over the hump.

to hit 500rwhp w/150 shot you will only need ~350rwhp NA

I made 566rwhp on a 150 Shot and 422rwhp NA

Cammed Lt1 with Full Bolt-on's and a 150 NX kit should do right at 500RWHP.

Properly set up, I'd be more worried about the bearings.

I agree. No need for ported heads.

The first that failed in mine, spraying 100 shot and shifting at 6800, were the bearings; 1 rod and 1 main bearing.

so its really just the bearings, cause mine failed last year and i had to rebuild it. i think the number 8 cylinder is what spun.
