Clearance with my LT's and a 1.75 drop...

I think you need to sit down and be honest with yourself about what you want the car to do.
If you want it to be fast in the twisties then set the suspension and exhaust up that way and live with the fact it won,t be a good quarter mile car.
Or set the car up for straight line acceleration and live with the fact it won,t corner that well.
Life is full of compromises.

I have the Jet Hots, duals and Sportline springs and I seem to have pretty good clearance. I don`t have many miles on it yet but I have yet to drag on anything. The lowest point on the exhaust is the flange on the collector, and the Jet Hots are tucked up under there pretty good.
But like I said, I don`t have many miles on that set up and it`s not my daily car.

I have thought about THAT probably longer than you been alive.
Its a fact that a car set up for one thing will not do the other well.
If you try to set the car up to do both you will end up with a car that is mediocre at both.
A car setup to get the best quarter mile will not corner as well as a car setup to corner and vice versa.

I have my Z28 lowered with Hotchkis springs, and I believe they are like 1 - 1 1/4 drop and it is cutting it close with the JET HOT LT's. It isn't as bad as some people say it is though. You just have to be careful on the speedbumps, basicly just pay attention and you should be fine.

2 inches of ground clearance sounds good???
You must love to hear that sick scraping noise when you roll over speed bumps.
I can,t stand it personally, its like fingernails on a chalkboard.
I always try to jump up and make myself lighter to clear stuff.

Drag Launch Springs if i remember correctly do raise your vehicle a little, so they work perfect for LTs. And I say again do not Drop car of you have LTs. lol Drag springs are also good for daily driver
