Clutch pedal switch

Anyone ever replace their clutch pedal switch? I was having problems with the car not starting...replaced the started, everything fine for a month. Today I go to start it, click, mashed the pedal to the floor and then it started. I ordered the switch today, only $8. Just wondering how much of a pain it would be to replace it.

Other than that it is an akward place it ought to be a no brainer. The electrical just plugs in and the switch unbolts. It's right at the top of the clutch pedal. You can't miss it.

I've been thinking about deleting that switch myself.
