Thumbs up Code p1441, Evap Hose Leak Question?

Brought the car to chevy for a Check Engine Light, they agreed to fix it before I actually made the deal for the car anyway.... anywho they scanned it and found a leak at the rear near the fuel tank which they fixed...My question is what does this hurt, performance??? The car feels/sounds 110% better then when I brought it in...Thanks

Could you please elaborate on what they found out to be the problem? I have had this code forever and I have basically changed out everything in the evap system. And to answer your question... I have noticed absolutely no loss in performance at all.

The only problem you might have gotten out of it would have been a vacuum leak. Depending on how bad the leak was, it could have affected the engine enough to be noticed.

You drove up the AL-Can highway with no sweat? I know years ago, the road was not so good.
