coiuld exhaust leak throw SES?

after racing wednesday night i noticed i could hear what sounds like an exhaust leak from my passenger side header. today, i started the car up and headed off to work, idleing through the parking lot and the SES light came on and stayed on. do you think this could be cause by my header leak maybe causing false o2 readings?

yes it can cause a lean condition because of air getting in and the O2 will get confused. same thing happened to me, i forget the exact code though. managed to get the leak ALMOST fixed but enough to get rid of the SES light.

have you scanned the car yet? it could be cuz of the leak but its never a good idea to assume things and let it go.
