Re: Cold Air?

They are all about the same power wise but i have heard the "g2" is not very good. So pretty much get which ever one you can find the cheapest. I'm happy with my K&N, i think the lingenfelter is the cheapest at about $160.

Re: Cold Air?

I have the SLP, which is metal. If I were you, I would get a plastic one. IMO the metal ones may get a little heat soak, and I wouldn't be suprised if it caused the incomming air to heat up a little bit more than with a plastic CAI. I am pretty sure the moroso cai is plastic, dunno about the others though.

Re: Cold Air?

I have the G2 and gotta agree, it's only good for keeping rain off the filter in crappy weather. I'm getting a LPE supertube. The G2 uses the stock size flat filter (at least I have a K&N in it) and good for me it's the exact same as my 2000 Blazer! Nice to be able to swap filters then clean the dirty one at leisure.
