converting 93LT1 to work with 95LT1 stuff

I have a very generous friend that is lending me his 93LT1 motor to put into my 95 Z/28 until I get my 355 finished. I am already planning on camming the 93 so I can use a vented opti and such, but Im wondering if there is anything I am not thinking of.. I know there are differences between 93's and all other years besides the opti like the speed density and so on, but I figure all that is in the PCM, and I will be using the one from my 95 anyways.

Is there anything other than the opti that I need to consider? I will be using my intake off of my 95 so I shouldnt have to worry about the fuel system. I've been racking my brains thinking about this and I am just really excited to get my car running again (been since thanksgiving) and I dont know if I have considered everything or not..

PLEASE HELP ME.. IM GOING NUTS!!!

You will need to use your 95 timing cover as you probably already know. If using all the top end bolt on stuff from your 95, you shouldn't have much to worry about.

isnt the fuel rail crossover in a different location on 93 as opposed to the 94-97? if so you need to use your manifold and fuel rails off your 93

Shoebox - thanks for the help.. I've been going nuts trying to think of differences, but you have made me confident that I have thought of everything! btw. Your site rocks! Its saved me a couple times now!

justnrt - I dont believe the 93's have a crossover, so I will be using my intake and fuel system from my 95 (The motor is from a 93, the car is a 95) Thanks for the reply though, if the car was a 93, I would end up having to use the 93 fuel system.
