coolant

Normally there would be a sticker near the remote reservoir that said to use Dex-cool if the system came with it. If no sticker, then it is usually the green stuff. Some 1995s came with Dex-cool and 1996 and up should have.
I have seen info both ways on mixing. Some said definitely don't and others said ok, but your protection will only be as good as the old green stuff. Personally, I would not mix unless you had no choice or did it by accident. I would flush it sometime in the near future and put all of one kind back in. I don't see it hurting anything for the short term.

I've used both the green stuff and dexcool, shouldn't make a huge difference between one and the other. I would recommend that you don't keep them mixed if you accidentally put some green stuff in with dexcool, or vice-versa. Can't see how that would be a good thing.

i had a 99 TA and i remember it was a big thing that you only use the pink stuff. i got rid of that car and got the 95, still thinking i had to use the pink stuff i bought that and put it in. then came on here and asked. ( i had a blonde moment ) so it is mixed right now as soon as i get money i will have it flushed. thanks for the replies
