coolant hose problem

I need to know what this hose is called and where it runs to. I was guessing the heater core? I also need to know the correct routing of the hose. Thanks……

Re: coolant hose problem

Any sections of the heater hose can be replaced by scoring the factory swaged collar that clamps the hose to the pipe and then prying it up and "zipping" it off. You don't want to score deep enough to get into the pipe underneath. Some people use a cutoff wheel with a Dremel. The new hose can then be attached with normal hose clamps.
