Coolant level sensor - How does it work?
I just replaced my coolant level sensor as it went out. No problems there, it's very easy to do.
The question I have is how does this thing work? There is the one copper pin thingy on the inside and two connectors on the plug. So it is not a float type switch. The only guess I have is that it somehow does it with temperature?
If someone can shed some light I would greatly appreciate it, as said I have replaced it so it's all working OK, I am just curious as to how it performs its function.
