coolant temp sensor pigtail
coolant temp sensor pigtail
got a replacemnt pigtail but it has 2 wires. I do not have the old one or an engine harness.
question is do I use the A or B terminal? sensor has a lead in each side....both are delphi if it makes a difference

Not sure what your point is?
B is the actual signal that uses a yellow wire and goes to pin A31 of PCM Red connector.
A is ground and uses a Black/Pink wire and goes to A17 of PCM red connector. The black/pink changes color to all black after it goes thru the 10 pin connector near the PCM.
Incidentally, since the sensor is only a variable resistor, it makes no difference which contact point is used for either wire.

I guess he might be referring to the one for the gauge that does not go to the PCM and uses one wire. I can't remember offhand, but just click the pigtail onto the sensor and meter each lead to ground to see which wire is connected to the sensor.

yeah thats what I was refering to, the one for the gauge in the head. Green wire
