Could this be causing my problems?

While working on the opti, I noticed this out of the corner of my eye...Could this be causing my problems? I know it is probably a vacuum leak, which is what my problem is reminiscient of. Lousy idle, almost no vacuum, code 33 MAP high

And can you just remove it? This car has zero chance of passing an emissions test anyway.

Oh, and are there supposed to be 2 lines going into it? I can only find one...

OK, but there is only one line in the vicinity...And it looks like there are 2 openings...That's the question I have now...

Yeah, I went and looked, and it does look like that. All I can hope is that it is the issue, cause I am going to put it all back together...
