could i keep with an LS1??

With my mods listed and if i was to get Mac headers and maybe a cut-out and adj. fuel pressure reg., could I be in the same league as an LS1? I seem to think so, but i could be wrong.

Maybe for the 1/8 mile but I doubt it in the 1/4. Of course a lot depends on the driver and the individual car. I would recommend some drag radials too. Of course you have added heavier suspension components and heavier rims and tires which will slow you down too.

i was beating LS1s with K&N CAI, 3.42s, and a cutout. You should be able to get some. I have a very light LT1 also 3410# raceweight , weight reduction is gooood!

My buddy has a 98 z28 m6 I can walk him out the hole but top end he walk by me. My other friend has a 01 ss automatic and last night i beat him by a fender. But like they say It all depends on the driver.

you should take an LS1 off the line but he will catch you at about 60mph. With the mods you want to do you should be able to take an LS1 in the 1/4.

Maybe i should just buy an LS1 - but i would be saving quite a bit of money keeping the LT1.

so far you have lots of suspension upgrades but little power upgrades. Headers, AFPR, DR's ( don't launch hard though or you'll be buying a new rear), RR's and maybe a cam and you should be able to keep up with most stock and lightly modded LS1's.

Yup, i love handling, and i would definitely swap the parts on to the LS1 if i did change to one. I do love my LT1 though.
