Crane Gold 1.6 RRs
Post up experiences with these RRs if you have them. I have them now(in the car when I bought it). I am getting a bigger cam, eventually. 23x/23x mid to high .500s in lift. Similar is size to some of the LE2 cams. Will these RRs work for my application? Looking to possibly spin to 6200 or so.

I have 1.5:1 Self Align Crane Gold RR on AFR 190 heads/ 383ci - D1/ 7.62->3.4 pulley.
Spins 6800rpm with a Cam Motion cam (231/240 - .553/.558" 114lsa)
3/8 stud with ARP head bolt hardened washers under the studs with red lock-tite.
Useing Comp hyd roller lifters with 7.3" Lg push-rods, and, AFR hydra rev kit helps load the lifter on the cam @ high rpm. Lifter is @ running limit with the std LT1 gm flat keyed retainer.
(Valves and afr springs (1.46dia) only good to .550" lift).
Usually adjust 2 to 3 times a year & check for problems.
Never had the lock go loose, but, look out for the stud moving without a hardened washer. It has run good, but there is better stuff out there - Jessel shaft mount RR's.
