Hello !

I want to install a Crane Hi 6 ignition to my 92' Corvette LT 1 engine=> Is it possible to deinstall the original Ignition coil module and to use the ECM's ignition control output signal (A12 connector of the Engine's ECM) directly ?
I think the crane module only wants to get the right timing signal which will come from the ECM. The original crane adapter uses the two plug hook up right from the coils=> with using the signal out of the ignition control module, but why necessary ?
