Crank Position Sensor
Hey guys/gals..
I just had an interesting experience trying to get a crank position sensor from my local Kragens..
Went to Kragens yesterday and they said only one shop in the area physically stocks the part, and it is $99.95.
I say ok thanks I'll check it out.
Go up the street to Autozone and they say they do not stock the part but it is $34.95 and they can order it.
So I think $34.95??
Then head straight over to Pep Boys and they say the same thing as Autozone, $34.95 special order only.
So today I go to the Kragens that has the part, talk to the manager, and he agreed to price match the other stores if I could bring him a print out.
Which I did, and he matched the price.
Just thought I'd share the info w/you.. don't pay $99.95 at Kragens..

I went through what you went through a little while back. Went to AZ and Kragen, none in stock, and I couldn't order it cause their vendors where out of stock as well. Ended up going to a Pep Boys 15 miles away. Paid $56.
Good luck with the opti replacement. I just replaced mine two weeks ago, and it already broke (rotor screws backed out), replacing it again this coming weekend.
