Well I just bought this 95 Trans Am and it was running pretty hot. So I flushed the cooling system and installed a hypertech 160 thermo along with new plugs [car wasnt starting good], air dam [didnt have one on when i bought it] and a LT-4 KM [just got it along with the air dam]. It is now running very cool but the day after doing all this it started to idle rougher then before. Like you could feel the car moving back and forth more then before. Also while driving, If I would just give it a bit of gas and go through the shifts its ok, but if i give it any more gas [more then 1/4 gas] it has crappy acceleration. It goes then doesnt then goes then doesnt. It doesnt completly stop but it just stutters while accelerating and feels like it might not be getting enough gas. I checked all the plugs and wires to make sure they had a good connection so its not that. My fuel pump is making a sorta loud hissing noise which is pretty noticable. I am going to change my fuel filter tomorrow and see if that maybe helps but I am clueless right now. I am going to also change the wires soon [any suggestions?] but ANY help would be great Thanks!

if u spilled coolant out of the top of the water pump while changing the thermo, there is a chance it may have spilled onto the opti. did u gap the plugs correctly? torque them correctly into the heads? alot of things can go wrong real fast. i kno from experience if u dont know what ur doing have a professional. trust brotha
