crooked stance, sway bar or frame?

my 97 Z28 has a crooked stance. in the front the car is fine, but in the back, the left wheel well is a half inch lower than the right wheel well, it doesnt sound like much, but to an **** person its agravating. i thought it was the frame, but the guys at the dealership said it could also be a sway bar? does anyone else have this problem? now i know f-bodys have a habit of doing this, but usually they sag on the right side. any help is appreciated. thanks in advance to anyone.

sway bar thats an interesting idea, maybe they can hook you up with a lowering sway bar?

I would say the spring is sagging, or maybe you forgot to take your bags of water softner salt out of the left side of the trunk

I think pretty much all F-bodies look like that over time. I've seen a million threads about it over the years. Mine sits like that as well. It kind of bugs me, but I don't think I'm going to worry about it much.

I definitely hear this all the time... It is very very common in older 4th gen F-bodies.

But, not to throw salt in the wound, mine has 167,000 miles on original shocks and springs and sits perfect. I did notice that the whole rear is a little lower than new f-bodies, but it actually makes the whole car sit perfect. Weird, I guess

It could be the swaybar. If it has a twist in it, the car will sit crooked. Disconnect it and see how the car sits.

If that is not it, and you really want to fix it... get a spring compressor/expander and stick it in one of the springs to straiten it out. I had an 87 IROC that sat crooked after an accident. The body shop insisted it was not the frame, so i used an expander on one of the springs.
