Question CSI or Meziere

I'm looking for an electric water pump, and all I come up with is the Meziere for around $200 and the CSI for around $135. Which one is a better water pump, and why? Is the Meziere worth the extra $65? I am building a stock bottom end LT1 w/ cc306 cam and AFR 190cc heads if that makes any sort of difference at all. Thanks,
Tom

I think the meziere is worth the extra money. For one it fits right in side the old housing using the O-ring. Whereas the CSI you have to grind notches into the housing where the pump seals. Search around the sponsors on this site you might be able to find a pump for cheaper. Either way you cant lose though, go ELECTRIC!!!

Thanks for all the info guys. I think I may go with the CSI. How much could you possibily need to grind out anyways?

I should have taken pictures when I installed mine. The grinding isn't that big of a deal. You have the housing all apart anyway to remove the stock drive and blades. It is laziness to not save the $65 and spend a few minutes to grind with a dremel.

BTW, the CSI also seals with an o-ring just like Meziere

Ken did an awesome job writing this tutorial. Take a look.
I used it when I installed mine.

Thanks Ken.
