Cutting rear springs!

I want to cut my rear springs to make it sit a little lower in the rear. I like the way the front sits but the back is too high. Are there any tips you guys can give me before I do it. Like how much to cut off. ect ect................

i personally wouldn't cut the springs at all...maybe purchase some coil overs from eibach or get some new shocks like the QA1 or something....hope this helps, im sure people who know more about suspension will chime in 4 ya.

I wouldn't cut them. Try taking out the rubber spacer first and see how much you like it.

Not as much as cutting the spring.

I dont think there is any excuse for cutting springs when lowering springs can be had in the $250 range. Its just not worth it.

Just deflate your rear tires and you will set lower to the ground in the back.

I agree with RX-7 SS....why be ghetto and not only affect your ride quality but your safety when spring can be had for so little money.

If you can't afford new, check out the for sale section....you may run across a good deal there.
