I just put down 399.1 at the wheels with ported stock heads, stock size valves, and a modest cam through an A4 and a 3600 vig. That was on stock tune. So yeah, I'd say it's worth it

i have to call bs unless it was a huge cam with amazing heads. m6 cars with big cams barely put that down

I don't blame You, Alot of people have until they ride in the car or were at the dyno. PM Joe Overton if You don't believe me. This was also with the stock tune other than the injector constant set to 30lbs with LT1 edit. It will be tuned tomorrow and look for 420 at the wheels and mid 11s from stock bottom end

Oh yeah, I finally updated my sig.

I have a vid here of me racing an M6 with AFR 195cc Comp ported heads with LT4 intake and a cc306. I'll send it to you if you want. It was pretty ugly

No prob, it's on the way. This guy is a great friend of mine and was at the dyno as well. BTW, his car is no slouch. I'm sure that he will chime in here later.

I still dont believe it. Ken Mook had a killer set of heads. 230/236, and an M6 and only put 406 down with a dyno tune. Your A4 sucks up way more power than his M6.

What did the heads flow and what are the specs on the cam?

My heads flow a REAL 248cfm on intake and 188cfm on exhaust with no pipe or any other crap on a superflow 600 with a 4.15 bore. It's not all about big flow #s up top. I'm pushing this through stock size REV valves with very little taken off of the short term. My heads outperformed a set of TEA and AFR heads on the same bench. Don't get caught up in #s in magazines or on the internet. I think that Eric knows what he is doing. He did port the fastest LT1 in the WORLD N/A. I give him and Joe ALOT of credit.

You think the a4 eats hp, how about the 3600 vig stall? I have put down roughly the same #s as a few strokers around here with m6s It's all about the combo. If You are calling bs on me now, I can't wait to show You the tuned # in a couple of weeks. I have to put in a new diff unit in the rear before I hit the dyno. My old one didn't last too long.

Here's a link to the discussion on the Eastern F Body board
hit the dyno

No use arguing, I still dont believe it, b/c the a4 and stall just kills power, no tune, cam isnt that big, and the heads dont flow that well.

Oh well, good luck with the car!

I do not have a scanner, but will try to get it to someone in the next couple of days. You can call and verify my #s with the shop tomorrow- Dyno Tuned Performance 757-549-DYNO. My name is James Eddy and I have a 96 T/A

If You email me, I will give You Eric's, EB Porting, phone # and he would be happy to provide You with just about anything that You need to know. I just saw him take a set of AFRs from 255 at .060 to 278 with 249 at .0400 and over 200 at .030 lift
