ok well i was goin down to my bank depositing a check... go back out side... key dont start... nothing happens u can hear like a hissing sound and nothing.

so i figure maybe my battery is dead... i ran across the street got a battery lugged it accross the street (heavy lil bugger) and put it in... well now the radio doesnt work... but i'll start a different thread for that.
anywho called AAA and they towed me to an autocenter, and he says the starter is shot. so after work i come by to pick it up, and $258 was the total, sure the guy says 250 call it even.

then one of the employees says "hey man how much for those rims" and well sold him my 3 spoke 17's for 150 and i got to keep his camaro salad shooters... so i walked away with better lookin rims, newer tread, a new starter with a 1 year warenty for 100$

good deal?

and a battery (interstate w/ a grey top) 65$

hrmm just did a look around... the tires up front are 235/55/16 and the tires in the rear are 245/55/16... i didnt realize the back tires were bigger

You paid 258 to for the starter and install? You can get those like 99-150 from summit. Easy as pie to install.

from stock the salad shooters on Z28 come with 245/55/16 all the way around.
FWIW you can buy a salad shooter wheel for $25 each used
