heres a video of my 8.40 run. what was really cool is after this video i ran a 01 transam ws6 and beat it. He went 8.53 to my 8.47 it was an awesome race.

Not bad man, looks like it will be a fun car once you get it figured out. Don't give up on it. Its taken me a long time to get mine running the way it should be too.
