Cool DO I have to change to obd1

Hi all I want to install hooker lt and y-pipe what i need to know do have to change the pcm to obd1. I really hate check engine lights so i want to do the job right the first time. If anyone has a list of items needed that would be great thanks

You don't need to change for OBD1 just for the long tubes. I haven't changed to OBD1 and don't intend to do so, but I do have LT1-edit and can disable SES light for EGR, AIR...
I think people are changing for OBD1 mainly to allow use of big fuel injectors like more than #36.

I would get a mail order tune from pcmforless.com, no SES light, and the tune is perfect.

yeah thats what i'm goin to do for the pcm since i saw the price of the program. but does anyone have a parts list needed for my 97 duel cat. I want to get everything needed ahead of time so the job gets done right. also any install tips would be great
